When the Hospitality Programs Department at SUNY Broome Community College decided they wanted to start a casino management degree program, the Chair came to me and asked if I could help create a brand for the casino classroom that was being built in conjunction with the launch of the new degree.
I wanted to create an elegant, classy look using a rich color scheme and classic patterns. I chose a script font for the logo and added minimal effects to ensure that the name popped out. On external marketing materials, the SUNY Broome logo with a hospitality version of the hornet is included at the bottom. On internal marketing, such as signage on campus and decorations inside the casino room, the Casino Vespa logo is displayed without the SUNY Broome overlay.
